Happy Holidays from The Sanibel Captiva Guide!
Every year we make funny family Christmas cards.
What started as a simple idea has turned into an annual tradition filled with creative themes, goofy photos, and plenty of outtakes. We hope they make you smile!
Our first Christmas card from 2000 when Max was almost 2, a peaceful family portrait on the beach.
In 2001 everyone was feeling a little more daring.
By 2003 Santa popped by for a visit and, we had another little visitor, Brooke!
By 2004 the Adams clan was now 5 strong – we were blown away! Literally! We experienced Hurricane Charley! Luckily the kids held on….
In 2005 we were trying to reel in our crew of growing rascals!
But by 2006 the kids were clearly in charge.
In 2007, the kids were trying their hardest to convince us they were little angels…
So, in 2008 we thought a change of scenery would do them good!
However, in 2009 they persuaded us to form a Rock N’ Roll band…..
It took a while, but a couple of years later in 2011, we had taken back the control!
Everything was calm until 2012 when Nick licked a lamp post……
After losing half his tongue, Nick decided 2013 was all about proving a point. Don’t call it a comeback……
After a less than well-received hip-hop career, the Adams decided to bond over the 2014 popular trend of zombie-ism, it went well!
But, not being one for failure, we decided 2015 would welcome one last stab at Gangsta rap….
But by 2016 we decided it was better to stay home and be wholesome…..
A nice family getaway in rural Colorado went well in 2017…….
However, a year of isolation in the snowy mountains did have a bit of an effect on the Adams collective
Luckily by 2019, everything was back to normal with Team Adams.
That all went to “you know what” in 2020, Nick and Max had to be sequestered to the backyard…
But! It’s 2021 and we are back in fighting shape!
2022 knocked us back but we are Sanibel Strong and ready to fight another day!

Come on Barbie let’s go party in 2023!
We decided to become ranchers in 2024!

It all got weird again in 2025!
We hope you enjoyed our funny Adams family Christmas cards!
I love every year from Max’s first birthday! The Adams family set the bar high for great holiday cards! What were you all doing in 2010?
