The first annual Red Grouper fishing tournament will be held on April 7th & 8th, 2023 on Fort Myers Beach, Florida.
The Red Grouper Bash is presented by Off Duty Lifestyle. There will be cash prizes, raffles, food & drink, a kid’s fishing tournament & live music.
Alec Dilallo (who is co-running the tournament) is a good family friend. We were thrilled to have him on The Sanibel Captiva Guide podcast.
Alec is a local first responder. The idea of Off Duty came to light when a like-minded group of individuals regularly spent days off enjoying an active yet busy lifestyle.
The idea for the Red Grouper fishing tournament came about as a way to get people’s minds off the hurricane. What better way than a local fishing tournament!
The cost to enter is $500 for a four-person crew. The proceeds from the fishing tournament will benefit Hurricane Ian relief.
