The Great Calusa Blueway
The Great Calusa Blueway is a paddlers paradise and is an excellent trail for beginners or advanced paddlers. The trail leads you through the estuaries of Lee county which covers Sanibel and Captiva, Estero Bay and Pine Island. It is 190 miles long and is a great place to kayak, fish and bird watch. There are many trails to explore and there are 3 maps below you can download to decide what part you want to explore first! Each area has many points of interest. Be careful of strong currents and be sure to take sunscreen, bug spray and water with you.
