Little Free Library was started in 2009 by Todd H. Bol who then went on to start a non-profit aimed at helping communities by inspiring people of all ages to read. The libraries are small little houses that look like large birdhouses, they are open 24 hours a day and anyone can open them and take, or leave, a book.
