Spoondrift Island Bowls – A Favorite Takeout Spot!
We are thrilled to introduce you to one of our favorite lunch spots, Spoondrift Island Bowls! This charming, family-run establishment specializes in Poke Bowls (pronounced “Po-Kay”). They have daily specials, soups, Boba tea, various lemonades, and splendid homemade desserts. Spoondrift is run by father and daughter team, Jeff and Malia. Jeff is the magician in the back providing daily specials such as curry, pesto gnocchi, and Morrocan chicken. Malia is out front as the reigning queen of the Poke bowl. The poke bowls are our favorite, Hawaiian in origin and consisting of seafood or meat cut into cubes with the customer choosing a base, protein, veggies, and sauce. It’s delicious, fresh, fast, and healthy! Don’t leave without trying one of Malia’s sublime homemade deserts, they are to die for. All the packaging Spoondrift uses is biodegradable which aligns with the ethos of the island. And though it is takeout, there are few tables outside to relax and enjoy your meal. Stop by and visit Malia and Jeff or find them on Facebook and Instagram under Spoondrift Island Bowls. Tell them Nick and Lori say hello!
