The Famous Sanibel Café Table Tops!
The Café is famous for its unique, decorative tables. Each table has a glass top display showcasing the most incredible arrangments of fossilized seashells. The shells, hand-picked by artists Sue Stephens, are from fossil pits around Florida and date back to the Miocene and Pliocene Eras of the Ice Ages so they are 1.8 to 24 million years old!
