We are thrilled to report that the Sanibel bike paths are indeed OPEN for everyone to enjoy!

Are There Bike Paths on Captiva Island?
Unlike its neighboring Sanibel Island, Captiva does NOT have dedicated bike paths.
While the island offers stunning views and a charming atmosphere, it’s important to note that cycling here requires careful consideration of the limited road infrastructure.
Although there are no designated bike paths, if you proceed with caution, you can still enjoy riding along the scenic roads, taking in the sights and sounds of Captiva Island.
