The Sandbar On Sanibel
The Sandbar on Sanibel is known for its great steak, seafood and laid-back atmosphere. Though the menu may be upscale, the ambiance is relaxed and welcoming. Noted for its delicious crab cakes, The Sandbar has a generous selection of pasta dishes and salads. The black grouper is always a favorite and the ribeye is also a popular choice. There is a kurobuta pork job to sink your teeth into which can be paired with any of the fine wines on offer.

Tarpon Bay beach is one of the better beaches for shelling but is also great for swimming, fishing, relaxing, Kayaks, and paddleboarding. Boasting generous amenities such as restrooms, outdoor showers, and changing stations. It is handicap accessible, with free handicap parking and 76 general parking spots. Parking is on Tarpon Bay Road, approximately a 3-5 minute walk away from the beach entrance (with the exception of the handicap parking).
Sunset
Similar to its peers, Tarpon Bay Beach is a beautiful spot to watch the sunset, with parking and the Bailey’s General Store close by, it is the most accessible beach to have a romantic sunset picnic.
