We filmed this episode of The Sanibel Captiva Guide Podcast before Hurricane Ian. It was actually supposed to come out the day Hurricane Ian hit, September 28, 2022!
Local Sanibel resident and artist Lacy McClary is best known for her whimsical, island-inspired paintings and reclaimed wooden boho art pieces which have adorned many walls throughout the islands of Sanibel and Captiva, and beyond, for over a decade.
Here is Lacy’s website and her GoFundMe. Not only is she a wonderful person and an amazing artist but she has donated a ton to on-island and off-island charities over the years. We hope you can support her.
The following is a quote from Lacy’s page.
“I will be taking commissions and will be working the best I can. I will not let this break me. We will get through this together my friends. I love you guys. Please stay safe and give the one you love a hug. ✨” -Lacy
We can’t wait to show you the REBUILDING of the Islands & to WELCOME you back!
-Nick, Lori & Max
